A decorated veteran of the Indian Air Force and a former senior leader at Pawan Hans Helicopters Ltd., WgCdr Ahmed has a proven track record in managing complex helicopter and seaplane operations across India. His expertise encompasses the planning, coordination, and execution of flight operations, heliport and helipad consultancy, and the certification of aviation infrastructure for both government and private sector clients. He has been instrumental in launching and managing critical aerial services for pilgrimage destinations, remote area connectivity, and special assignments such as the introduction of seaplane operations in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Gujarat.
At AviatelQ, WgCdr Ahmed oversees operational strategy, compliance with aviation regulations, and the development of robust safety protocols. He is responsible for mentoring operations teams, supporting the integration of advanced technologies, and ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of efficiency and reliability. As Technical Advisor to AviatelQ Tech LLP, he provides expert guidance on DGCA rules, statutory compliances, and operational requirements, ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of safety and regulatory approval.
Mr. Bhatnagar’s responsibilities at AviatelQ include advising on compliance with DGCA regulations, reviewing documentation and procedures for regulatory approvals, assisting with applications to authorities, and supporting audits, inspections, and regulatory interactions. He also lends his expertise to specialized assignments such as heliport development, preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), and feasibility studies.
With a distinguished career at Pawan Hans Helicopters Ltd.—where he served as Joint General Manager (Engineering) and Continuous Airworthiness Manager—Mr. Bhatnagar brings deep technical knowledge in airworthiness, quality management, and helicopter maintenance. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Airframe Mechanics and Aircraft Maintenance Technology, a BBA in Marketing, and international certification in Helicopter Maintenance Management.
